OBSERVED:     On 11-19-99 at approx 6:00pm C.McCalister, another Agent with the North Ms. Narcotics, and myself were on a detail, we were doing our paper work. I was standing outside the vehicle and the other two officers were in the vehicle talking, I heard a noise in the woods coming toward us, I stated to the others that something or someone was coming through the woods at us, They told me it was deer.

I could notice it was still a little way off but was coming at us. It kept getting louder so I told the others again but they still wouldnt listen so I turned around and walked about 10 feet from the Vehicle and took a look. By then it had gotten really loud and I became really concerned, as I walked back to the Vehicle Deputy McCalister had finally heard it to. As I looked to the tree line I could see a outline of something really Big but I still wasn't thinking. The other Deputy took out his flashlight and shined it into the woods but missed it by 15 or 20 foot.

I said! that ain't no deer and he said it sure ain't. Deputy McCalister exited the vehicle and we went to the edge of the woods about 20 to 30 feet from were I saw the outline, we could here it walking away from us in a half circle, (there is a barn and a house about 100 yards straight through the woods and it didnt want to go that way, it didnt seem). So being the enquiring minds we were we went after it still not thinking( I thought I was seeing something else but not what I know It was now or I would not have gave chase so quickly). The area were we was is grown up in thorns and briars and is not somewhere any one would be walking at night, it is wooded and secluded and we have used it prior to this date.

Anyway we chased it through the woods if you could call it that, we would take a few steps and it would do the same, it was approx. 50 feet away but we seem to be heading to the same point.

as we came closer to the noise we would shine the light around to see if we could see it or its eyes but could not. we could hear it really close but still could'nt see it maybe because of the hollows. When it did get close to us it ran really fast, the ground kinda shook, and the tree limbs were shaking back and forth, we could tell it was about 7'6" to 8' tall because the limbs were over our heads. we ran after it and into a fence about 42" tall, it had to of jumped over it cause we were running behind it. Probaly not as close as we thought, as we entered the field it went into we could see the grass laid down(the Grass was waist to chest high) and we had a erie feeling we were being watched. we agreed it was not a deer , bear, or human, but it was on two legs. we went back to the vehicle with out further incident.

Activities of Witness:    WE were getting out our gear to plan surfing down by the beach the next day.
 

Description of Creature:  We did not see it in the light but the out line I saw would be approx. 7'6" to 8', its hair was blacker than the night because the outline was really standing out to me. also the tree limbs it ran thrugh was that tall. It had no smell I noticed, I could not see its eyes, from the outline and the sound of it walking and running it weighed approx 400 to 500 pounds.

Other Notes:     The week before we were all there again, and we thought we were being watched because we heard something in the distance walking but we didnt think much of it.

Sighting: When the witness first noticed the animal, it was on the right side of the road , close to the bank. At first the witness thought it was a dead tree. When the vehicle approached closer, it stood up and in two steps , crossed the road. It stopped at the tall embankment and looked back at the car.

(Attributes) The witness said that the animal was about seven feet tall, and was covered with hair, except for the face. It had deepset eyes that appeared to shine red in the afternoon sunlight. It had some facial hair.The witness said that it had long , swinging arms , as it walked across the road. The witness mentioned that the face looked like a " monkey face".It scrambled up the embankment and into a pasture.

The witness and others returned to the site later and noticed a smell of decomposing fish that was coming from an area pond that had dryed up.

Additional info: The witness' son said that he had seen a similar creature, possibly the same one , at a nearby creek, two years earlier.

Sighting: We where all out camping. We could hear something screaming, it was like nothing we ever heard before. Jr. could make the same noise so he tried it. It would answer him back. We got in the truck & went in the direction the noise was comming from. By the time we got there ,the noise was coming from the camp site ,Jr. was with us. So we whent back. We chased him for about 1 hour,& decided to let him be.After a while, we could here something in the woods.It was pitch dark,so we could not actualy see him,but....we could see big pine trees bend in half. We threw hot dogs in the direction we thought he was at,hoping if he was hungry that would do him & he would not eat us. The next morning, the hot dogs where gone,&there were BIG foot prints close by our camp.Durring this time I was on my period. this was about 6years ago.This happened several times, we all noticed that he would get close to the camp when one of the females was on there period.We like calling him up and ! did so often.There where times though we had a strang feeling and would not call him. Dont ask what kind , cant discribe it.But felt it would be best not to. Another time was just last summer ,we where all at the sand pitt,been calling him up ,& he would answer us. Later that night I drove home( in the car), Mr.X on the ATV it followed him out( run beside him ). It did not follow all the way home, but stoped at the end of the road. Another time Mr.X & I where out rideing ATV & came across HUDGE footprints we said that must be where he stayed at. He never tried to hurt us nor us him. I think he knew that.

Attributes: Big feet ,bigger than anyone with us .And we had some #12 feet there.

Sighting: I was driving along with a glass of tea in my hand on a dirt road and I noticed something beside the road to me left at the time it appeared to bejust a stump or something bet when i got near it it stood up,turned and looked at me,my car was within a few feet of it,and the sun caught it's eyes and reflected red,that spooked me,it was about 7 feet tall and i guess weighed about 3 to 4 hundred pounds and resembled an ape of some sort,i didn't hang around to get a really long look but this picture is pretty much on target except it seemed to be a male so subtract the breasts and go from there!!!

Sighting: Me and a buddy of mine were squirrel hunting at the base of this levee when we heard what we thought was another hunter walking down the levee so I stood up to see who it was and when I did I got the SHOCK of my life,it was approximately 8 ft tall and i guess about 400 lbs I saw it about the time it saw me it was just walking at a regular pace and when it saw me it did an about face (not literally) but walked off in the same direction from which it came, my buddy wanted to go after it but i convinced him otherwise being that all we had was squirrel shot and i didn't feel too comfortable with that. it was on the levee about 100 feet away from me when it turned and walked away!

Sighting: I was on my way back home after takeing my daughter to a freinds house. I started down a hill & cought a glimps of something crossing the road in front of me. I didn't think that much of it at first. I though it was a deer. When I got to the bottom of the hill, & on my way up the other hill,I saw this HUGE creature(looked like a gorilla). It stood about 8 1/2 - 9 feet tall standing on the side of the road.It through its arms streight up in the air over its head , & let out a .......growling scream. I was about 15 feet away from it at this time. It shocked me (scared me) , I just floored the truck & got my butt home. I might have scared it too because it ran into the woods.
Attributes: HUGE 8 1/2 - 9 feet tall about 4 foot across the chest look like a monkey in the face the chest area was bare (no hair) over the rest of the body the hair was roughly 4 inches in leangh It was a dark brown or black in color. It was dark so cant be 100% on color.
