Mad About You is the acclaimed hit television show that is coming to Tuesday's this fall. The show has been a great hit for several critics and viewers for four years. As it moves into its fifth season it has had a successful past with awards.

1999

Hank Azaria was nominated for an Emmy in 1998 for his guest role as Nat on Mad About You.(He lost to Mel Brooks who also appeared on an episode of MAY)

For the 1994-95 season Mad About You has been nominated for seven Emmy Awards. It received Best Comedy Series, Best Comedy Actor (Paul Reiser), Best Comedy Actress (Helen Hunt), Best Guest Actor in a Comedy (Carl Reiner), Best Guest Actress in a Comedy (Cyndi Lauper), Best Editing (Sheila Amos) and Best Sound Mixing (Peter Damski). In 1994, Helen Hunt received the Golden Globe and America's Comedy award as Best Actress in a Comedy series. In 1995, Helen Hunt again received the Golden Globe as Best Actress in a Comedy series and "Mad About You received the Best Comedy series award.

Others include: the Viewers for Quality Television's comedy award in 1994 and in 1995 Peabody Award for excellence in television. This years Emmy's were successful for Helen Hunt as she grabbed the Best Actress in a comedy series. Paul Reiser was nominated as Best Actor and the show Mad About You was nominated for Best Comedy Series. Though both lost to John Lithgow (3rd Rock From the Sun) as best actor and Frasier as Best Comedy series.
