In addition to her work on the editorial side of publishing, Joan is a food photographer whose photos have appeared in the Richard Simmons & Friends Newsletter and elsewhere. Joan guided the process from proofreading the copy and cooking the recipes in her kitchen through styling the food and photographing the completed dishes. Joan has also contributed exercise photos to Arthritis Health Monitor. Finally, Joan's photos have been published in the Rivertowns Enterprise and displayed in a group show at the River Gallery in Irvington, New York.
